welcome to your room
This is a private, temporary space for sorting through what has been occupying your mind. The contents of your room are not saved or sent anywhere.
Refreshing or closing this page clears the room.
When you are finished, use take my room home and choose “Save as PDF” in your browser’s print window.
A personal reflection tool—not a replacement for professional mental healthcare.
how privacy works
the room exists only while this page is open
No account. No database. No autosave.
Your entries are held only in the page’s temporary working memory. They are not placed in local storage, session storage, cookies, a profile, or a server.
Refreshing clears everything.
Closing, refreshing, or reopening the page creates a completely empty room. The browser may warn you before leaving once you have added something.
Your take-home copy belongs to you.
“Take my room home” prepares a print-friendly activity booklet locally. Choose “Save as PDF” in the browser print dialog. The website does not retain a copy.
The company that hosts a static website may keep ordinary infrastructure access logs, but this app does not put the contents of your room into network requests.
a note from the maker
✿
hi, i’m fran ♡
I make gentle digital tools and write about learning, living well, and mindful technology.
Mental Hygiene Room grew from a routine I use to give thoughts somewhere to live that is not only my mind. I wanted tending to your headspace to feel less clinical and more like sitting down at a small activity table with yourself.
why I made this
Sometimes expression is not quite enough. This room offers a little structure: name what is occupying you, separate it from the context around it, find a more useful perspective, and decide where it belongs for now.
the kind of technology I love
Technology that feels gentle, intimate, thoughtful, and humane—something that helps you return to your own agency rather than asking you to stay forever.
with care, Fran ♡
start with an empty room?
everything currently here will disappear.
Take it home as a PDF first if you would like to keep it.

prepare my PDF
Your browser’s print window will open. Choose Save as PDF as the destination. Everything is generated from the current page only.
Your PDF will include:
A room map, every concern and context note, your mindset shifts, where you placed each item, and a blank “what happened?” area for revisiting later.
